Silver Bullet Technology and Glory FSM Announce Strategic Ranger®
Licensing Agreement
PENSACOLA, Fl., October 16, 2008 - Silver Bullet Technology and Glory FSM announced today that they
have engaged in a strategic partnership to develop Silver Bullet's Ranger® API for Glory FSM's FB-10 and FB-8 (also known
as REINER RS 900) check scanners.
Glory FSM's compact scanners handle a full range of documents targeted to the financial and banking industries.
The FB-10 and the FB-8 (RS 900) have the ability to read MICR, endorse, capture images, and sort documents at a rate of
70 DPM at USB2.0. This innovative scanner gives companies the ability to put distributed processing to work instantly.
Silver Bullet's Ranger software allows customers to use virtually any item-processing software with virtually any
check-scanning hardware. The addition of Glory FSM's product to the Ranger family will allow banks and other financial
institutions to incorporate these scanners into their programs without replacing their current software solutions.
"We believe that this partnership with Silver Bullet represents an important and logical step," said Arimitsu Zendo,
International Sales Manager for Glory FSM. "It will allow all our customers, through this universal API from SBT, to
easily adapt our large range of unique and innovative document scanners and processing systems to their existing
applications."
"We are delighted to partner with Glory FSM," said Jamille Ellingson, National Account Executive for Silver Bullet.
"Ranger, the industry standard universal API, is sure to rapidly increase adoption and add value to Glory FSM's newest
additions to their check scanning and MICR read products."
